ROCKVILLE – Mrs. Edith Simmons, 74, of Rockville, Route 4, died Fri- a.m. at the Vermillion County Hospital in Clinton. She was born Oct. 28, 1899 in Indiana the daughter of Henry Kilburn and Naomi McCallister. She was a housewife. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Rebecca Maris of Bloomingdale; two sons, Robert of Rockville and Donald of Indianapolis; two sisters, Mrs. Letha Barneko and Mrs. Ruby Willing, both of Valpariso; three brothers, Raymond Kilburn of Lansing, Mich., Ivan Kilburn of Melrose Park, Ill. and Wayne Kilburn of Albuquerque, N.M.; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. EST Sunday at the Barnes Mortuary. Burial will be at the Union Cemetery near Rockville. Visitation will be at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Saturday. – jlr
